Dark Fumed

Fuming oak is an old technique. It is a chemical reaction relying on the naturally occurring tannins present in the tree.

As it is reliant on the tannin to work it must be pointed out that floors can be very variable due to differing concentrations in various trees and even in different parts of the same tree.

This particular floor is dark but still with good definition.
